• Purpose of metallic stickers: Metallic stickers are needed in an indoor and outdoor environment in order for the Mevo to accurately measure ball spin. However, spin accuracy without a metallic sticker is well within acceptable levels. When using a metallic sticker on a ball, aim the metallic sticker away from the radar. Note: Sharpies are not recommended for use instead of metallic stickers. If you are using a golf simulation setup with the projection screen, a sharpie mark on your golf ball will leave a mark on your screen. Mevo comes with 50 stickers.
• Performance: Extremely low and wide shots and shots that pass behind the player might not be displayed. Mevo's performance can be affected by fluorescent lighting, heavy machinery, excess metal, and/or any rotating objects (fans, air conditioning units, etc.) in the surrounding area.
• Light conditions: Radar technology does not require direct sunlight for accurate measurement and is completely unaffected by low light conditions! However, Mevo's performance can and may be affected by fluorescent lighting.

Mevo Hardware & Technology

• Video: Mevo does not have a built-in camera. The video is taken with the camera on your mobile device within the Mevo app. The Mevo radar synchronizes the action video clip, which is recorded on your device automatically, resulting in an overlay of your captured data on the video clip of your swing. Once you select a video in the settings, the app will access the camera on your mobile device. In addition, slow motion video is available for mobile devices that have the feature.
• Compatibility: Mevo works with FocusBand but does not work with BodiTrak.
• Units of measurement: In Settings, you can choose between Metric (km/h, m, seconds etc), Imperial (mph, feet, and inches etc), or Scientific (m, seconds, m/s etc) units.
• Battery: Rechargeable
• Battery life: 4 hours. Please note that Mevo will power off automatically after 3-5 minutes of no use. The power button is only used to turn on the Mevo and cannot be used to turn it off.
• Battery charging time: Mevo's battery reaches a full charge in about 2 hours. Charging times will vary with different charging voltages.
