Daylite4 MKIII Unit

E27 Fitting: Each DAYLiTE4 MKIII unit features 4 lamp sockets which is compatible with a traditional E27 screw fitting and can be used with the included 8x 85W 5500K Daylight balanced Compact Fluorescent Light (CFL) bulbs. The CFL produces light equivalent in brightness to approximately 5x the power of conventional tungsten bulb, which means you can achieve an impressive 1700W equivalent each unit for a total of 3400W e.g. 85W CFL = 425W tungsten or 105W CFL = 525W tungsten.

User Friendly:  feature user-friendly controls which allow you to easily adjust the light output between half and full power via two switches on the back of the unit, that control the power going to the bulbs in sets of two.

Tiltable with Vertical and Horizontal Mount: fully tiltable and can be mounted vertically or horizontally onto any standard light stand with a 5/8" stud.

Bulb

Energy Efficient: The energy efficient CFL bulbs also produce less heat, so they are not uncomfortable for the model and have a longer life span compared to traditional tungsten bulbs (up to 10,000 hours). 

Daylight Balanced:  As our CFL bulbs are daylight balanced at 5500K, this means they are great to use to replicate or alongside natural lighting. With a CRI (colour rendition index) of 90, the lights are sure to give you a natural colour reproduction for your images and videos. This means that you won’t see any light fluctuations or exposure inconsistencies in what you are shooting for accurate consistent lighting. 

Softbox

Highly Reflective Interior: which has a highly reflective interior to maximise light efficiency.

Unique Modifier Mount: features a unique modifier mount to attach the included 60x80cm softbox.

Soft Even Lighting: Due to its large surface area and rectangular shape, this Softbox produces soft even lighting, which wraps around your subject to create flattering results, ideal for portrait photography and large enough for full body shots and for photographing large objects. 

Stand

Universal Screw Spigot: traditional universal 5/8” spigot with 3/8” screw. This is the most popular fixture for lights or flashes which covers the vast majority currently available on the market.

3 Tier Extension: features 3 tier extensions making it possible to be extended to a full length of 190cm (74”), which can then collapse right down to 66cm minimum height.

Compact and Portable: the perfect mounting tool for any travel or on location photographer using small to medium sized lighting.

Boom Stand

Extendable Arm: The boom stand features an extendable arm, up to 180cm when fully extended, and the arm can also be adjusted with minimal extension through the grip.

Non-Slip Twist Lock: The stand features a non-slip twist lock for quick and easy set-up

¼” Fixed Socket Head: It has 1/4" fixed socket head for easy camera and lighting kit set-ups (flash or continuous lighting).

High Stability: This boom stand has a counterbalance sandbag which aids the armload. The stand has a wide footprint providing added stability and an air cushion mechanism to prevent the damage caused by a sudden drop.
